...Ruben recently produced God's Slave, a political thriller about the AMIA bombing in Buenos Aires in 1994, which has already been released theatrically in Venezuela, in the midst of great controversy, Uruguay and Argentina. He also produced the short film Goldenstate, which explored the consequences of evictions in the US and was screened in Cannes in 2013.As a young Spaniard who has been living abroad since 2009, Ruben believes it is necessary to tell the story of his generation. A generation that has fulfilled its part of the social contract (study hard, get good grades, learn foreign languages, study abroad, etc.) and has been deeply let down, with none of the promised decent jobs in sight.
